Our Mission

What is MADES?

MADES — the department behind the "House of Hope" — was established to address society's most overlooked humanitarian crises: the abandonment of those who have fallen through the cracks. Ex-convicts with nowhere to go. Street children with no family, no shelter. The destitute who cannot afford a meal.

MADES believes that every human being — regardless of their past — deserves a second chance. Drawing on the teachings of Prof. Zacharias Tanee Fomum on mercy, MADES creates pathways from exclusion to inclusion, from shame to dignity, and from hopelessness to purpose.

The programme's cornerstone is the Prison Ministry: visiting 14 prisons, leading 3,374 souls to Christ, baptizing 3 inmates, and distributing food, clothing, Bibles, medications, and sports equipment to incarcerated men and women across Cameroon.

Growing Hope from the Ground Up

MADES has launched an agricultural initiative in Nkolavolo II, ESSE — cultivating 1 hectare of plantain as a sustainable livelihood project. This initiative is designed to generate income to fund ministry operations and provide agricultural vocational training for rehabilitated ex-convicts.

By combining spiritual restoration with economic empowerment, MADES equips former prisoners and vulnerable youth with practical skills that open doors to dignified, independent futures.
