Our Story

What is Mercy Works?

The Mercy Works Department of the Zacharias Tanee Fomum Foundation (ZTFF) is a comprehensive humanitarian initiative that operates at the intersection of faith and social action. Born from the prophetic vision of Prof. Zacharias Tanee Fomum and Pastor Theodore Andoseh, it represents one of Africa's most dynamic faith-based humanitarian organizations.

At its core, Mercy Works is about more than charity — it is about dignified partnership. We do not view our beneficiaries as recipients of handouts, but as fellow image-bearers of God who, for a season, need a hand to hold. We walk alongside them, equip them, heal them, and restore them to wholeness.

Through five specialized sub-departments — MADES, Hope Clinic, Love Homes, FESIDEV, and Relief Services — Mercy Works addresses the full spectrum of human suffering: incarceration and street life, disease and medical need, orphanhood and bereavement, displacement and crisis, and the need for experienced international support.
